Bharat Jodo Yatra: Preparations in full swing for grand prog at SK Stadium Sgr
Workers enthusiastic, say BJY a new ray of hope
Srinagar, Jan 28 (KNO): The arrangements for the culmination programme of Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) at Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium here are in full swing, with hoardings being installed in and around the venue where a huge gathering is expected on January 30.
Congress workers said hoardings have been installed at the venue by the labourers who have been with the yatra since day one from Kanyakumari.
“We have installed hoardings in every state where the yatra was held,” a group of party workers told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Moreover, the volunteers and workers associated with the Congress party said they are upbeat and enthusiastic about the Bharat Jodo Yatra and that they see a new ray of hope in the grand old party and in Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
Irshad Hussian Ganie, a PCC executive member, told KNO that they consider the ongoing BJY a fruitful exercise. “This yatra is aimed to unite the people across the country who have been divided. We are hopeful to see the restoration of Article 370 and 35 A as well,” he said.
“At least the communal forces who have divided the nation should know what this yatra is aimed at. We have huge expectations from Congress and Rahul Gandhi Ji and we are hopeful of employment generation as the BJP has been just promising jobs and doing nothing on the ground. Bharat Jodo Yatra has given us a new ray of hope,” Irshad said.
Another worker said that BJY has “a mission of love and unity”. “Voices from every corner of Kashmir are coming to join the yatra,” he said.
Chief Spokesperson JKPCC and Chairman Media Committee BJY Ravinder Sharma told KNO that a high-level meeting is underway in connection with the hosting of a mega gathering at SK Stadium in Srinagar on January 30—(KNO)
